About Me
Hi, I am Gagan Banga, an avid long distance runner-Tata Mumbai Marathon(TMM)25 will be my 18th year of running either the Full or the Half Marathon in Mumbai. I plan to run the half marathon in TMM25 .
I am MD&CEO of Sammaan Capital(formerly known as Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd). At Sammaan Capital we respect institutions and people who are committed to impact society positively and while we do financial inclusion and affordable housing in our business , we are delighted to dedicate our resources to institutions whose work results in self respect as an outcome to the beneficiary.
Shikha, my wife and I have been supporting Seva Sadan which has for the last 116 years been dedicated to providing vocational training and shelter to girls coming from underprivileged communities.
Over the years Shikha has taken greater responsibilities at Seva Sadan and as she dedicates her time towards the work the institution continues to carry on, this fund raise is my humble gesture in support of their activities and to further their impact.
Appeal
As a firm believer in the transformational power of education it’s amazing to know that Seva Sadan has educated 40000 girls and have given home to 10000 girls. They have also helped 2500 women gain financial independence, setting them on the path of self sufficiency.
Besides using the platform of TMM25 to pursue my love for running, I would also like to use this platform to championing the incredible cause of Seva Sadan and the team behind it.
