About Me

Hi, I’m Ved Desai — and I’m 13 years old.

Over the last few years, I’ve spent time with children who had to drop out of school because of poverty, responsibilities, or lack of support. Some were working as child laborers.

But when I sat with them—played games, talked, laughed, and listened—I realized something important:

They’re just like me.
They have dreams.
They have talent.
They have so much potential.

The only difference between us is opportunity.

I’ve grown up watching my mom work every day to help these children get access to education, safety, and a better future. Being part of that journey changed the way I see the world. And now, I want to do my part—not when I’m older, but right now.

This year, I’ve taken up a mission:

To support one learning center—so children can learn, grow, and dream again.

To keep this center running, we need help covering something simple but essential: the rent.

A safe space means so much more than four walls.
It means:

? Children can come after school instead of working
? They get mentoring, guidance, and academic support
? They learn confidence, skills, and discipline
? They feel seen, supported, and valued

Some of these kids are the first in their families to even imagine finishing school.
