Appeal

I have been a volunteer with The Welfare of Stray Dogs since 2005 when I just out of school. What started off as a past- time has become a lifestyle which is now being follow by my 4 year old human baby as well.
Street dogs form an integral part of the urban ecosystem & deserve the love and care our pets do. Apart from learning coexistence ourselves, it is also important to impart the same thoughts into the next generation as well. Our actions today will be mirrored by them tomorrow.
We need organisations like WSD who support the vaccination, sterilisation & healthcare of community dogs and cats in Mumbai. They do it for free so that nobody is deterred from helping a creature in need! While volunteering is challenging for many people, the simplest act of kindness is to donate.
They say it is us humans who rescue the dogs. But work closely with them to realise it is them who rescue us.
