Let's READ - Corporate Advised Fund

Let's READ is United Way Mumbai's campaign to reach out to 5000 underprivileged children and provide them with the opportunity to experience the joy of reading.

My Appeal

“ Chalo Computer Sikhe”:- The Head of Navdisha Observed that india has a highest number of youth population. But most of it was settled in rural areas. The youth of rural area used to study just upto 12th class and will continue the legacy of forming to earn their livelihood. If some of them went to urban areas, they have to do jobs at very low payment as they do not have proper skills. Hence they are exploited. Looking at this scenario, Navdisha took the step to educate the youth in rural area with the skill like learning how to use computers. “ Chalo Computer Sikhe” is the first project of Navdisha education foundation. Through this ,we educated four government schools free of cost Initially . Now already more than 600 youths have benefited through this initiative. Our main objective that all of them get good job in future. Saksham Nari- Now Navdisha Education Foundation is going to start "Saksham Nari” Project for rural women and girls,in which Navdisha wants to empower rural females by training them with courses like beauty parlour, sewing machine(tailoring) and nursing courses.
