Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024
I am passionate about 'education for all children', especially those from the most marginalized communities of India. I am joining hands with United Way Mumbai and Round Table India to make a difference in a child's education journey by participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 to raise funds for the poor and vulnerable children of India.
I will run the Full Marathon on 15 January, 2023 to raise maximum funds to help children to receive a real chance at a quality education in a safe and secure environment.
You may already know that, India alone has 300 million learners, with only 60 million who are enrolled in secondary and higher secondary school. Furthermore, only one in every 100 girls in rural India will make it to Grade 12.
About Me
I am Kunal Rawlley from Rourkela, Odisha and an entrepreneur by profession. I am passionate about fitness and follow an ardent fitness regime. My passion in sports led to setting up the first multi sports turf called the 'Iconic Turf Club' to promote fitness and sports amongst the youth of Odisha. Apart from working with schools and corporates, this turf club gives special privileges and training to the local tribal girls and boys who want to hone their hockey and football skills and ensure a bright future for them.
I have also participated in various marathons which include the; Shriram Bangalore Marathon, Kolkata Marathon, Airtel's Delhi Half Marathon, and the Tata Mumbai Marathon twice. I have also biked across the one the most difficult cycling routes in the world - Manali to Khardungla.
In addition, I have earned the titles of 'Super Randonneur' in 2019 and ' Ironman' in 2018 at Vietnam. I have also been a finisher at one of the worlds biggest cycling events PBP (Paris-Brest-Paris) covering 1200 kms over 90 hours.
