Employees of participating corporates can choose to expand their philanthropic involvement in the TMM by fundraising for causes and NGOs of their choice. Raising funds for a cause is a deeply satisfying and rewarding experience and provides an important opportunity to contribute to the underserved.

Employee Fundraising Process:

  • Employees are encouraged to create their own personalised fundraising page on the UWM website. They may also choose to add collaborators to their page.
  • These personalised and feature-rich pages will allow the employees to customise appeals, select NGO/s, upload photographs and videos, set targets, receive all important communication on the dashboard, receive donation notifications and updates and are easy to share on social media.
  • While creating the fundraising page, each employee is requested to select the corporate they are associated with so that the funds they raise reflect under Employee Fundraising category.

Note:

  • 100% of online funds are disbursed to the supporting NGO, UWM absorbs the payment gateway charges
  • Offline retention: 4% - 0% of offline funds raised, based on the fundraising level
  • Employees can at any point of time edit the fundraising target and other details pertaining to their fundraising page on UWM website

 

Offline pledge raising

Corporates may choose to accumulate donations on behalf of their employees and contribute them to the NGO supported by the corporate. To contribute through offline pledge raising, a form needs to be filled and submitted to UWM along with the cheque/s or DD/s favouring United Way of Mumbai. The accumulated fund will reflect on the corporate page on UWM website. 80G receipts will be provided to all donors as per the pledge form.

Additional benefits to the companies who have employee fundraisers:

Employee fundraisers who have collectively raised above INR 1 Lakh:

 

  • Official event plaque to all Companies raising INR 1 Lakh and above
  • Company name featured in the special section of the Corporate Tent on race day

Employee fundraisers who have collectively raised above INR 3 Lakh:

  • Above mentioned privilege
  • Company logo featured in the special section of the Corporate Tent on race day
  • One VIP marquee invite and grand stand pass for the company CXO on the race day
  • One TMM Philanthropy Awards Nite invite for the company CXO
  • Quarter page feature in the TMM 2020 Post Event Docket

Employee fundraisers who have collectively raised above INR 5 Lakh:

  • Above mentioned privileges
  • Procam Marquee for Company CXO plus one and an additional Grand Stand invite for Company CXO
  • Additional TMM Philanthropy Awards Nite invite for the company CXO
  • One TMM Philanthropy Awards Nite invite for the company SPOC
  • Half page feature in the TMM 2020 Post Event Docket


Note: Race Day benefits will be decided on the basis of Employee Fundraising amount raised as on Thursday, 26th December, 2019.
