Reports to: Deputy Manager - Human Resources
Job Overview:
We are looking for an HR Consultant to co-work with the internal team at United Way Mumbai and manage every aspect of the employment process, including recruitment, orientation, maintaining records, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand hiring needs and develop role-specific sourcing strategies in consultation with department heads
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing to onboarding
- Screen and shortlist candidates through resume reviews and interviews
- Coordinate with hiring managers and schedule interviews efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records
- Provide weekly status updates and hiring metrics
- Facilitating onboarding & orientation
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Remain updated on employment laws and regulations
- Support employer branding initiatives and campus engagement activities
Profile Requisites
- Graduate in HRM or similar field, prior experience in an HR role is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment (in-house or consultancy)
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with ATS tools and basic Excel reporting
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the consultancy fees range is INR 15,000 - 18,000 per month.
