Job Overview:
The Coordinator/Assistant Manager
will support the monitoring and evaluation of various United Way Mumbai
programs and interventions. This role will facilitate the design,
implementation, and analysis of external impact assessments as well as
collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the measurement
and evaluation of interventions. The role will also contribute to the
development of reports and provide insights for informed decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support in monitoring of project indicators to
track progress and outcomes in real-time.
- Maintain a centralized database of impact data and
ensure data integrity & accuracy.
- Assist with designing and refining project
monitoring frameworks and logic models.
- Assist in designing and conducting qualitative and
quantitative impact assessments for ongoing and completed projects.
- Develop and implement data collection tools, such
as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and case studies, to measure project
outcomes.
- Analyse data using appropriate statistical and
qualitative methods to assess project impact and effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed report on impact findings,
summarizing data, insights, recommendations
- Updating the dashboards and present/communicate key
impact metrics and trends effectively.
- Align assessments with the expectations of both
internal teams and external partners.
- Support stakeholder engagement processes to gather
feedback and insights for impact measurement.
Profile Requisites:
- Master's degree or
equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy,
Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
in impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation, or data analysis
(preferably in a social or development context). Experience with impact
evaluation methodologies such as Theory of Change (ToC), Logical Framework
Approach (LFA), Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs), or Participatory
Rural Appraisal (PRA) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g.,
Excel, SPSS, STATA, R, or similar software).
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to
manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of qualitative research methods, such as
interviews, focus groups, and content analysis would be desirable.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills, Ability to work in
collaboration with different stakeholders, Strong work ethics and goal
orientation.
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR 5 LPA to 9.75 LPA
