Mahindra Open Drive is a two-day
festival of creating, celebrating and supporting communities of people who are
driven to do good through story-telling, fundraising, entertainment,
culture and adventure.
The event is a 2-day gathering of people from all across the country hailing from different cultures and backgrounds, all for the common cause of ‘Being A Better Person’. Through the Mahindra Open Drive, we’re looking to create a happier and better world by supporting
the amazing people who accomplish amazing things.
The
experiences at the festival span music, art and culture and are curated to reflect The
Tribe’s need to participate in and be inspired by the gathering. We have
some amazing live performances and artists that truly compliment and complete
the experiences. This festival is brought to you by Mahindra Rise and will be
held this November in scenic Panjim, at the Bandodkar Grounds, Goa.
Fundraising:
The Mahindra Open Drive doctrine embraces the 'do a little; give a little; smile a lot' ideology. Simply put, the festival encourages attendees to find
happiness in recognising and celebrating the good deeds done by people and
contributing to individuals and institutions that make them happen.
In
line with this, the prime intent for the fundraising for the festival has six
underpinning causes:
- Education
- Healthcare
- Safety
- Livelihood
- Environment
- Rights & inclusion
Through
fundraising initiatives, festival-goers - or the Tribe - are able to pledge
monetary aid to a cause in which they believe, fix the spotlight on NGOs and partner
organisations actively involved in making change happen, and rope in friends
and family to drum-up vocal (and social media) support.

The Drive:
If you have friends and even a modest appetite for the finer
things in life, you've probably planned a trip to Goa by car. It is one of
India's most iconic journeys – not as much for the drive itself as what the act represents - a sense of camaraderie and togetherness. Be warned;
there's no big reward or prize money. But the drive packs in ten hours of
close time with friends and family, and that's the spirit Mahindra Open Drive celebrates
and stands for.
So
this November, buckle-up to drive down for the sense of community, the
