We are excited to celebrate our passion for running again on January 20, 2019 by running our second Mumbai half-marathon to raise funds for underprivileged children at SOFOSH & TARA. SOFOSH – Society of Friends of Sassoon Hospitals - is a unique organization established in 1964, as our societal response to the hospitalized patients, their trauma, their plight, the helpless and abandoned infants, their care and rehabilitation including child adoptions. SOFOSH is very close to our heart and has given us the best gift of our life. TARA is a branch of SOFOSH established about 16 years ago to create a home for those with special needs, who have little or no hope to be resettled through adoption. As the star of hope for challenged children, TARA provides a loving refuge for the physically and mentally challenged children of our society, and is equipped with facilities of physiotherapy, water therapy, speech therapy and play therapy. We need you yet again, as our friend and supporter, to help us reach our goal of Rs 2,00,000.
