"Well Done !"

United Way of Mumbai recognizes companies that have demonstrated excellence in running their 'Wake-Up India' United Way Campaigns and celebrates their extraordinary commitment to the community. Every day these corporations and their employees are impacting our community through their generosity, leadership, and participation in community initiatives.

As a leading banking firm, Citigroup is one of the largest banking and investment companies in the world, delivering customized banking services and solutions to its clients. A long-time community supporter, Citigroup has been working with United Way Mumbai to address the community's most pressing needs.

The 2004 'Wake-Up India Payroll Giving Campaign' was initiated in November 2004. Citigroup has led the Payroll Giving participation campaign in India, with today over 30 employees participating in the Citigroup payroll giving campaign. Payroll Giving presentations are being made all across India at all Citibank offices, and it is expected that the payroll participation numbers will surge, and Citigroup will continue to outpace others and continue to lead the Wake-Up India Payroll Giving Campaign'

Citigroup's approach to the United Way campaign was simple and effective. With the endorsement of Mr. Sanjay Nayar, President and Chief Executive Officer, Citigroup initiated the campaign with a pacesetter drive that resulted in the first 30 contributions coming in prior to the official start of the campaign. In addition to increasing employee participation, Citigroup with their senior management leadership will also be approaching its associate companies to participate in this year's campaign, thus broadening the total base of corporate support to the 'Wake-Up India Campaign'. payroll participation.

Congratulations and Special Thanks to:
" Mr. Sanjay Nayar, CEO, Citibank
" Madhulika Gupta, Corporate Communications Head
" Pradeep Mukherjee : Head Human Resources
" Prakash Somayaj, First Citibank Volunteer
