SWOT Analysis

Strengths

  • 11 Years rich experience in rehabilitation of street children
  • Model of rehabilitation successful. Model being documented to be shared with other NGOs in similar area.
  • Dedicated workers. Executive Director has been associated since inception and so are most of the workers at SUPPORT.
  • Recognition among international donors.

Weaknesses

  • Skilled professional team for expanding the services. Managerial inputs needed.
  • Infrastructure
Resources

Opportunities

Support due to infrastructural limitation is able to provide its services to only limited number of children. SUPPORT rehabilitation programme which has evolved after long term association and work with children who are addicted to substance has proved to be successful in reintegrating children and received recognition from the community. The model is being documented and published in the form of the book to be shared and implemented in NGOs working on similar issue. With the successful model, given professional manpower and infrastructure SUPPORT has potential to cover many more children on the streets of Mumbai.
