OM CREATIONS TRUST, was created in the year 1991. It is a pioneering non -profit training project for holistic and educational rehabilitation of mentally challenged women (Differently-abled) in the age group 20 years to 53, founded by a visionary special educator and set of parents of young/ adult mentally challenged down syndrome.
Our Young / Adult Women become members at the OM CREATIONS centre at the end of 5 Years Specialized Polytechnic Course from S.P.J. Sadhana School for the Mentally Challenged. Based on their natural talent and ability they are placed in Visual Arts & Crafts or Hospitality & Catering department.
With faith, conviction and comprehensive professional training, the innate competence of these girls born with Down's syndrome and other mental disabilities are directed in a productive manner, allowing them to administer their survival in a manner as normal as possible.
Fund Usage:
Being utilised for training & rehabilitating autistic / down syndrome and mentally challenged young/ adults with multiple disabilities.
Impact:
Our young adult. Ms. Sheetal chitre, after a training at our workshop,is working in automobile industry- admin dept.
