About NGO:

Shishu Welfare Trust of India, runs a children's Home, provides counselling help to women in distress, sponsors deaf & mute children's education. The Trust was established in the year 1984 and about 4000 children have been taken care of so far. We have successfully placed children both within the country and in international adoptions.

Fund Usage:

Bal Vikas, Children's Home run by the Trust has a unit of Physically & Mentally challenged children. A few of them go to special schools and the others are so severely challenged that they are taken care of in the Institution. They are provided with various medical interventions and thus the donations will be used for this unit.

Impact:

Balvikas, the institution run by the Trust believes in the total development of children. With this aim in focus the children are sent to regular English Schools, Open School and Special schools. This will help the children integrate within the society when they leave the institution as an adult.
