About NGO:
The Nalanda Foundation was established in 1998 in Mumbai, to assist children with Learning Disabilities (LD) by providing an effective educational infrastructure. Nalanda also provides alternativ assessment, training and consistency programs to support children with Learning Difficulties in mainstream schools. The Nalanda Program provides an alternative learning environment for children having learning difficulties from std Vonwards. Students exit the program through the National institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) secondary examination (X Std). We at Nalanda believe that " Every child can and will learn well in spite of his/her learning difficulties."
