About NGO:

At CAF India we believe that every act, thought, and choice adds to the permanent mosaic: Our decisions ripple through the universe of consciousness to affect the lives of all. Since 1998 CAF India is a registered public charitable trust and is part of the CAF international network and has offices in New Delhi and Mumbai. CAF India's mission has been to increase the flow of resources from corporations and high net worth individuals to the non-profit sector.

CAF India is cause neutral and has a wide range of validated charities that work across diverse areas of development. The charities we support go through a process of due diligence and validation and CAF India ensures the charities we recommend to our donors comply with all the fiscal, legal & regulatory norms in-country. Last year, CAF India helped more than 18000 donors and supported 164 non profits across 17 states in India.

Fund Usage:

At CAF India, our key strength lies in doing independent and in-depth due diligence of non-profits which enables our donors to make an informed choice about their donations and investments. We have a pool of validated non-profits working across diverse causes in India. Our decade long, proven track record and expertise has helped us gain and retain the trust of many individual donors, national and transnational companies, foundations and institutions.

We also develop, execute and manage projects with a network of credible non-profit organisations and our portfolio is continuously growing. In doing so we aim at providing continued support to the poorest and marginalised sections of the society. Our donors have the option of chosing thecause/NGO they connect with most.

Impact:

Over the last two years, projects which have received grant monies raised in Marathons have ranged from a non formal education and vocational training centre in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh to a new building for a special school for persons with Blindness in Delhi.
