Vision:-Our vision is to see a world free of discrimination of all forms.
Mission:-We seek to realize our vision through tool of education to create awareness,upskill & influence policy.
The Foundation has initiated two programmes:-
- REACH:- Restoring Equality Through Education & Advancement of children in 2006.
- HEAL:- Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning.
Fund Usage:
REACH II 2011:- The Jammu & Kashmir Scholarship Initiative is an educational scholarship program under our initiative (REACH:- Restoring Equality Through The Education & Advancement of Children.) offering children from Jammu & Kashmir an education comparative to the very best available to children in the rest of the country.
Six children will be selected for a full scholarship to Sahyadri School selected for its egalitarian atmosphere and high quality all round facilities.
Impact:
REACH I which was initiated in 2006.Six kids from Andaman & Nicobar Island who were placed in Rishi Valley School near Bangalore,who were in sixth class have now reached std Tenth.As the kids are to appear for Std X ICSE Board Exam in March,2012,It was decided in consultation with the Rishi Valley School that the students needed special coaching.Hence seven weeks program for the kids stay & coaching in Mumbai was drafted.Wherein they received tuitions from some eminent teachers like Dr Venkatesh(Biology);Ila Asher (Maths),Anjani Rathod (Geography);Bela Raja(English);etc.
