United Way Project Profile - Education Support for 230 Children, Sion Mumbai

  Education Sponsorship of 30 children at Municipal School in Sion Mumbai
 
  • Initiated in 1998 at Joglekarwadi Municipal School, Sion.

  • ISC's main objective is to arrest the high drop-pout rate among children belonging to economically weak families.

  • United Way of Mumbai and ISC have been working together in Sion for nearly three years now.

  • In 2004, United Way identified Staff Salary Support in Sion as a capacity building area. A grant amount of Rs.1,20,000/- was released in order to cover staff salaries in Sion for that financial year.

Currently United Way 's Grant directly benefits 30 children through the Education Support Project.
