  • ISC started its project-Bal Asha Ghar in June 1999.

  • Bal Asha Ghar is a residential home for children of commercial sex workers. Currently there are 46 beneficiaries-29 male and 17 female

  • The main objective of the project is to provide shelter, food, medical aid and most importantly ensure good education and vocational training for children in the home

  • United Way has been working with ISC on the Bal Asha Ghar Project for 3 years

  • United Way Supports Children in the residential home with Rs.50, 000 on an annual basis
