SNEHA started by a phenomenal lady Dr. Armida Fernandes, aims at empowering the woman in all aspects of her life with fabulous programs that span her whole life cycle . I have volunteered with this organization for the past 9 years and have seen it grow from strength to strength. With a unique focus on health education as opposed to the vastly popular formal education, SNEHA has touched countless women and families by bringing down maternal and infant mortality, malnutrition, domestic violence and abuse, empowered youth about sexual reproductive health and their beautiful livelihood program. Their tireless work never ceases to amaze me! I have run for SNEHA for the past 6 years. This is my 4th year running the Half Marathon for SNEHA and my last too...have to listen to the body but it gives me great pleasure and its an honor to run for this fantastic organization in my hallmark 50th year! I am looking at raising Rs.1,00,000/- this year and will be ever so grateful if you could join me in this endeavor and support my run for this organization.
