I am raising funds for CMCA that has been doing transformative work with children, for over 2 decades now. Our weekly programmes in schools are preparing children with 21st Century Skills so that they have a better future. In rural India, they are thronging to Panchayat Libraries, where our Activity Cards are opening the world for children who have not seen anything beyond their village. Apart from Life Skills & Citizenship values, children are learning about Digital literacy, Financial literacy and in bringing about changes in their village. Our Children's Village Panchayat meetings are giving them a first-hand experience of Democracy in Action, as children speak out confidently on the urgent needs of their village to Govt officials. Everywhere, children have demonstrated a positive change in attitude towards civic sense, gender, environmental consciousness & in treating people fairly and with empathy. We are reaching about 150,000 children every year. There are over 300 million children in India who need this education for their own success and growth.
