Working with the Light of Life trust has made me realise that being a privileged individual with unlimited education ahead of me, the least I could do is help the children of the lower class get a chance to be educated, just like me. I have always been inclined towards the field of athletics and by participating in the Standard Chartered Marathon as a representative of LOLT, I would be more than happy to get more people to run with me and raise contributions to educate the needy children. According to me, every child shall be given the opportunity to be schooled and be carefree. I want to bring about a difference in as many children’s life’s I can because behind every child permeates a story of why they can’t attend school. I want to be able to change their ‘why not’ to ‘why they want to come’ and see that suppressed smile finally radiate from them, as you have to be the change you want to see!
