This according to me is what we need to give our rural Indian children as legacy. I run the Standard Charter Mumbai Marathon every year for the Light of Life Trust (LOLT), because I truly believe education is the only way to empower the millions of underprivileged children who are denied their basic rights of literacy in rural India. Light of Light Trust (LOLT) educates, empowers, and equips the youth in Rural India, to give them the opportunities to recognize their full potentials and shine. I have seen the children LOLT works with, blossom and achieve milestones which would not have been possible if LOLT did not adopt them. LOLT has done a laudable job in a short time for the underprivileged rural children. I am proud to be a member of this NGO. While we have seen wonderful results, we know that there are many such children that we still would like to reach out to (waiting out there).
