Dear Friend, I believe that one needs to contribute to the Social Sector whichever way possible as we draw from the same society. On a regular basis, I spend my time with NGOs, often the one’s dealing with children. Personally, I found this as a tremendous source of inspiration as well as satisfaction. For the first time, this year I am running the Standard Chartered Half Marathon and supporting the cause of an NGO, namely Teach For India (TFI). TFI works towards the mission that one day every child in India would attain an excellent education. I have met a few kids who are a part of TFI program and have found a tremendous difference between these kids and the others who are not a part of this program. Just imagine if every child in India receives an excellent education, it will change the entire fabric of the country, for better, in all respects. I safely assume that you would also want to contribute some way to the Social Sector and this is an opportunity for you to do so. Your contribution, no matter what’s the amount, can change the life of a child forever, for better.
