After finishing from Oxford University, I started my career as an Asst. Editor of Economic Times (1979-80) but to a role in treasury function in Grindlays Bank. I then joined HSBC as the head of their treasury team in India. My later responsibilities included General Manager of Financial Markets of ANZ Grindlays Bank and Managing Director of Global Markets in Bank of America. Since December 2012, I have been the Managing Director & CEO of TATA Asset Management Limited.
