We often feel that how can we contribute towards the development of the society. The future of the nation mainly depends on the proper education of our children. Isha Vidhya is an NGO committed to raising the level of education and literacy in rural India and to helping disadvantaged children realize their full potential. The project seeks to ensure quality education for children in rural areas, opening the door for them to participate in and benefit from Indias economic growth. The objective of Isha Vidhya schools is to make quality education accessible & affordable to the rural poor, currently runs 9 schools in Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. The schools presently have 5820 children, with approximately 3080 (58%) students on free education supported by donations under a scholarship program, while the rest pay a nominal fee. With the support of generous donors like you, I have been able to touch the lives of a few little children who were otherwise deprived of that one chance at decent living. And in doing so, I have found the purpose of this small yet winding journey called life. The funds raised will be put to effective use as the fund raising & most of d administration is carried out by volunteers.
