Teach For India is a movement of outstanding college graduates and young professionals who are diligently working towards closing the educational inequity gap in the country. India is currently facing the worst educational crisis in its history, and we at Teach for India are trying to change that.
Millions of children our country do not have access to quality education. At Teach for India, we envision a future where each child has the opportunity to attain an excellent education; an education that is rich in quality; an education that nourishes multiple aspects of a child; an education where a child can fulfill her potential.

About Me
I am currently a second year Teach for India Fellow. In the past 18 months of the fellowship, my classroom has been a world where my children have learned about robotics, where battles have come alive in history class, where burning debates on women's and children's rights have ensued, where the quietest of child has shown courage by stepping up and presenting to a classroom full of his peers, and where the most boisterous children have learned to channel their energy into creative outlets like sport and dance. Like me, 100s of other fellows are pouring their hearts and souls into creating environments and opportunities that push our children and expand their future!
