Teach For India, a project of Teach To Lead, is a nationwide movement of outstanding college graduates and young professionals who will commit two-years to teach full-time in under resourced schools and who will become lifelong leaders working from within various sectors towards the pursuit of equity in education. Millions of children in India do not access to quality education. We envision a future where each one of these children will have an opportunity to attain an excellent education. It is this belief that every child can and must attain an excellent education, that drives Teach For India to work harder. We do all that we can to support every Fellow with training, mentors and resources to help them put children on a different life path. I have been volunteering with different teach for India schools for a while now. Had a few friends who gave up promising professional careers to follow their passion. Have met many such wonderful people, and have learnt a lot from students as well. This is one cause that I firmly believe should be supported!!
