India is home to the largest number of children living with HIV
Due to the stigma attached to HIV, children born with HIV are at a disadvantage from the time they are born.
Rampant discrimination in school, on the playground and even at home translates to poor life chances for these children
Medical advances in HIV means if treated properly an person with HIV can lead a healthy normal life given the right medical attention.
Naz has been helping children with HIV lead healthy and productive lives since 2001.
Naz runs a care home in Delhi for more than 30 children living with HIV. They provide them with a safe and secure living environment. They give them access to a good education, healthy food, ample amount of recreational opportunities and adequate medical attention.
Additionally Naz also provides home-based care to children in low income communities around Delhi. The Naz community workers regualrly visit the homes of the children ensuring that they are taking their medicines, getting adequate nutrition, going to school and providing counselling services as required.
I request you to help me support these young children lead happy a playful lives.
I am running this Marathon to help the children. Please help me help them.
