ONCE YOU CHOOSE HOPE, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" - Christopher Reeve Dear all, This is something what happened with my marathon run this year. No practice, no long runs since last so many months. But still I'll be a part of the TATA Mumbai Marathon (TMM), to feel the hope many get when CPAA helps cancer patients with the fund we together raise through TMM fund raising platform, United way of Mumbai. Established in 1969, Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) has a tradition of untiring service to needy cancer patients from all over India, and even neighbouring countries. CPAA is an empathetic, reassuring, non-medical presence that has supported the treatment and overall needs of more than 3 lakh cancer patients. It is working towards the total management of cancer as a disease, which includes spreading awareness about factors which are responsible for approximately 70% of cancers in India. CPAA fights cancer by initiating steps for the early detection cancer along with providing complete assistance to cancer patients beyond that given by the medical profession. Our smallest contribution becomes life for those who keep struggling between this horrifying disease and the expenses of its treatment. Being a part of marathon motivates me to join together with all of you and bring smiles. Let us all again be a part of it.
