I am supporting Cheshire Homes India-Bangalore. This NGO was formed in 1961. Group Captain Lord Leonard Cheshire was very fond of India and made various visits during his lifetime. Residents are primarily physically challenged girls and ladies from the economically weaker section of society. It is a residential facility for 50 physically handicapped women and girls in the age group of 4 to 60+ years. I am supporting the cause as this NGO provides care, treatment, nursing and general well being of the women and girl children who have permanent and severe disabilities and elderly women who cannot look after themselves, from all class and communities and who are without or have limited means and resources.
