1. Asst. Manager, Workplace Campaigns

 Job Description:

  • Manage the workplace campaign vertical at UWM which focuses on employee payroll giving, corporate giving and employee engagement (employee volunteering)
  • Strategize new workplace campaigns & scale existing campaigns for corporate partners
  • Design and develop new corporate and payroll giving partnerships, including building relationships and opportunities to grow the program
  • Create annual operating plans for ongoing campaigns
  • Manage system back end for the workplace campaign portal
  • Ensure all campaign deliverables on project management, impact and reporting is adhered to
  • Research and introduce innovations in employee engagement and fundraising campaign ideas to improve and scale the programs
  • Work closely with other members of the corporate partnerships team to ensure that the promotion of payroll giving is a key aspect of corporate partnerships and that all opportunities for this are maximized

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Proposal writing, initiating meetings to explore new partnerships
  • Interfacing internally within the team for selection of NGOs as per the requirements of the corporate partners
  • Managing accounts & grant administration work related to the payroll giving campaigns
  • Collating & preparation of update reports
  • Follow up on legal procedures like MOU preparation
  • Follow up with the NGOs on boarded for campaigns
  • Leading efforts towards designing, coordinating, organizing, monitoring & evaluating employee volunteering activities

Required Qualification:

  • 4+ years of work experience 
  • MSW or post graduate degree, with relevant & demonstrable experience of building corporate partnerships OR MBA with excellent networking skills & knowledge of the social sector
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker with high levels of enthusiasm
  • Self motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • High levels of commitment and accountability
  • It would be desirable for the candidate to have prior experience in the following areas:
    • Building corporate partnerships / corporate sales
    • Corporate fund raising / employee engagement / campaign management
    • Knowledge, experience & proficiency in handling donation management systems

2. Asst. Program Manager - Impact Assessment and Documentation, Community Impact

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Create report documents for the existing projects
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation formats for of the projects (based on the project deliverables, tangible and non-tangible impact, social impact, etc.)
  • Develop reporting formats for the implementing partners and capture essential information to showcase the impact of the project
  • Conduct field visits to the project sites, as well as monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment of the project for internal learning of the organization and the team
  • Research and develop content for the various communications including newsletters, awareness mailers and project proposals
  • Write and circulate impact assessment reports on the various on-going projects to enable learning for the team, improvements in project activities/ strategies (as and when applicable)
  • Measure the impact caused by UWM projects in the space of community health, environment and disaster preparedness to be able to showcase the same to all relevant stakeholders and partners of the organization
  • Help with content for various campaign materials, IEC (Information-Education-Communication) materials

 Required Qualification:

  • Masters degree, along with at least 3 to 4 years of work experience
  • Excellent writing skills (essential) specifically English
  • Should be analytical and detail oriented, with a high level of interest in researching projects under review

3. Executive, Event Partnerships

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, manage and execute all internal and special events at UWM
    1. Identify, initiate and suggest events worth partnering where UWM could play a definitive role
    2. Take charge of the execution and planning of new calendar event initiatives of UWM and UWI
  • Responsibilities related to the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon include:
    1. Maintain processes to ensure seamless execution of the charity structure
    2. Build and develop good relationship and communications with nonprofits, HNI fundraisers, donors and partners
    3. Assist and advice participating nonprofits and fundraisers in scaling their participation, conduct capacity building workshops for the same
    4. Manage the funds cycle of the functions directly handled - raising, receiving, accounting, reconciling, disbursing and reporting
    5. Research, recommend and incorporate best practices to improve team efficiency

 Required Qualifications:

  • Organised and an excellent written and oral communicaton
  • Natural flair and maturity for developing relationships and network
  • Comfortable with MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Have passion to make a difference in society through supporting causes
  • Understanding of social and traditional media
  • An understanding of the non profit sector is desirable but not essential, sensitivity to the sector is essential

 Desired Experience:

  • Maturity of candidate is an important consideration.
  • Could be a fresher but ideally with 1-3 years’ experience
  • Prior work experience with nonprofits not mandatory

4. Executive / Coordinator, Community Impact (2 open positions)

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Community outreach and mobilisation for issues pertaining to health and implementing field related activities
  • Communicate and interact with program stakeholders / partners for implementation of the project
  • Engage and liaise with volunteers including citizens, college youth and community members
  • Coordinate and manage partnerships with public and private agencies for implementation of program activities
  • Plan, organise and carry out campaigns for sensitization of selected community on health issues
  • Create periodic report documents of program deliverables and outcome

 Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have Masters in Social Work/Bachelors in Social Work degree, preferably with minimum one year of work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Efficient in Community Outreach and Mobilisation
  • Must be efficient in communicating in English and Hindi (efficiency in Marathi will be preferred)
  • Candidate must be a team player and should be willing to travel in and around Mumbai for implementing program activities
