AGNI has played a fundamental & key role in formation of the MCGM's (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) ALMs (Advanced Locality Management Groups). The ALMs are the MCGM's own citizen's own participation in civic work. AGNI works are a catalyst for the same. AGNI's independent citizen's groups are the JAAG (Joint Area Action Group) who decide on the ward level priorities, resources required and implementation of the same.

Set up with the aim of building greater transparency on the Election process and awareness on the importance of voting. The Election Watch campaign started in 2001 helps meet with the aforementioned aims.

This program is aimed at helping Citizen's meet and interface with their electoral candidates as well as subsequently their elected representatives.
