| Empowering Children through Alternative Education Programme, Mainstreaming and Vocational Skills Training |
- The Prayas concept of Alternative Education comprises a planned and structured educational program with options suited to the needs of every dropout child between the age of 6-14 years.
- Through 200 AE centers, Prayas reaches out to nearly 50,000 children across the country

| Shelter Homes |
- Nearly 5,000 minor girls are rescued from different brothels and rehabilitated by Prayas

| Health & Nutrition |
- Prayas health service supports children from the most marginalised backgrounds through clinics and 24 hr primary health centres.
- Weekly health camps are organised to spread awareness in the communities.
- Children from the community are provided with alternative education and mid day meals.

| Economic Empowerment |
- Sanchay prayas, a model for business entrepreneurship has been set up for the survivors of trafficking and the profit is shared equally amongst them.
- To 14+ children, Prayas integrates both education and market training skills including: Carpentry, Beauty Culture, Dress Designing, Handicrafts, Screen Printing, Computer Applications, Bakery and many more.

- Prayas is running a 24-hour childline for children.
- People can call in to report about child in distress.
- In 2006, Prayas' Childline received almost 200,000 calls.
