Program conducted in the slums of urban areas with teachers from the community and trained by Pratham, carrying out balwadi, anganwadi and educational support classes. |

Read India Program was created with the objective to improve education in rural areas and reinforce the capacities of school system:
- Teachers training
- Support to teachers Support to children with volunteers organizing courses before and after classes.

| Work with vulnerable children |
9 years experience with child laborers. The approach has been shifted from providing classes at work to releasing and rehabilitating these children. In addition to the building of rehabilitation center Pratham builds its action through advocacy with the government to make child labour laws. |
