| Corporate Leaders Supports United Way |

United Way would like to acknowledge the corporate leaders who took out time from their busy schedule to run and to raises pledges of Rs. 1 Lakh and more for United Way Mumbai.
Mr. Sunil Mehta, Country Head, AIG and Chairman United Way Mumbai raised phenomenal sum of Rs. 1.91 Lakhs as pledges. The other CEOs who raised funds for United Way Mumbai are Mr. Sunit Mehra, Country Manager Hunt-Parters, Mr. Surendra Hiranandani & Priti Hiranandani, Mr.Vivek Gupta, CEO A.T Kearney and Laxmi Lobo.

| Senior Citizens Race

United Way had 2 participants for the Senior Citizen Run, which is a distance of 5 km. Mr.Girish Dholakia, Accounts Manager United Way and Retired Col Sabnis from Nashik chose United Way as their favourite NGO for the Marathon. Col Sabnis dressed as a soldier completed the distance of 5 kms in 28 min, truly displaying the spirit of the event! |

Greatest Race On Earth |
India's 3 rd Mumbai Marathon took place on 15 th of January 2006 with over 28,000 runners participating across various race categories. As one of the world's largest Marathons, and one of the 4 marathons to be run across the globe, the Mumbai Marathon showcases Mumbai city in all its splendour and vitality. It is one of the premier sporting events of the world, attracting the strongest professional athletes.

United Way Paints Mumbai Red!!! |
Bubbling with enthusiasm and anticipation, the United Way team along with H.R volunteers gathered at Azad Maidan, 6:30am. Ready to paint Mumbai Red with 6 Red Hand Mascots, 5 feet long and red pom-poms held high up in the air were the zealous students of H.R College who happily volunteered for United Way.
The 20 feet long United Way banner was held by enthusiastic employees of Bombay Dyeing, who cheerfully carried it all along the race and ran for the Corporate Challenge as well.

6 Corporates Ran & Raised Funds For United Way |

A.T Kearney, Bombay Dyeing, Castrol, Hexaware, Kelloggs and Tata-AIG participate in the Corporate Challenge, Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for United Way Mumbai. All teams ran the marathon covering a distance of 7 kms with zest, excitement and passion, dressed in t-shirts with their company’s logo and supporting United Way; in colours of white, red and blue.
150 Accenture employees also ran the Marathon to promote various causes supported by United Way.
